When entering the contest you are requested to submit personal information which includes, but is not limited to, your full name, telephone number(s), email and home address. This information is used for the purpose of confirming your identity and contacting you on behalf of BracketContest.com and our sponsors about the contest and its prizes.
BracketContest.com sometimes sends promotional Emails on behalf of our sponsors. We do not share your information when we do so and you have the option not to receive any promotional Emails when you sign up for the contest. If you accepted to receive promotional messages but change your mind, you can always un-subscribe by following the instructions included in the Emails, or by sending us an Email at [email protected] with the subject line 'remove'.
We release personal information only when it is necessary in order to comply with the law, to enforce or apply our 'Conditions of Use' and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, and the safety of BracketContest.com, our users, or third parties. Details that pertain to the contest, including usernames, bracket picks and point totals are considered contest information and may be used by BracketContest.com at our own discretion. The Bracket Contest is a competition and we recognize your right to know your position and scoring in relation to the other competitors. As such, we reserve the right to publicize standings, groups and winners. Real names will not be used to display contest information only usernames and groups.
BracketContest.com may gather and use information from outside sources related to you for use in the contest. The sources include, but are not limited to, our sponsors and partners. For example, in the case of special prizes for clients of one of our sponsor's services, information would be gathered to confirm your identity as one of the sponsor's clients. We may also gather information for use in an investigation about the contest or claims of cheating and fraud.

If you choose to enter the contest, any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our 'Conditions of Use', including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law.
